About this event

University Hospital Coventry is hosting an online session run by the National Axial Spondyloarthritis Society (NASS).

Join this online meeting with University Hospital Coventry, the National Axial Spondyloarthritis Society and other people with axial spondyloarthritis (axial SpA) and ankylosing spondylitis (AS) in your local area.

This session will allow you to:

  • Meet other people with axial SpA (including AS)
  • Learn about managing your night pain and sleeping better
  • Learn how exercise can be helpful in managing your condition, with tips on getting started and creating an exercise routine

The session is run by University Hospital Coventry rheumatology team, alongside NASS Senior Self-Management Programme Officer, Zoe Clark, who is a healthcare professional living with axial SpA (AS). The meeting is run via zoom and will include group discussions, teaching sessions and some gentle exercise sessions.

You are welcome to have a friend or family member join you, so they can learn more about how your condition affects you.

Although we encourage attendees to use their video and microphone in the group discussions, you can join in with as much or as little as you feel comfortable.

The session will run via zoom and there will be plenty of time for questions. You can read our guide to zoom and what to expect.

The meeting will not be recorded, but attendees will receive PDF resources after the meeting.

If you have any questions or accessibility needs, please contact zoe@nass.co.uk

Look forward to seeing you there
